HISTORY UltraCraft, a division of Norcraft Companies, has been manufacturing high-quality, full-access cabinets since 1986. Our 213,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and corporate offices are located in Liberty, North Carolina where we employ over 250 skilled craftsmen, engineers, administrators, and service representatives. We produce three comprehensive lines of cabinetry with 75 door styles in wood, thermofoil, metal, melamine, and EurotekTM veneer. In all, we offer over 10,000 different door-style/finish combinations.
CONSTRUCTION UltraCraft uses only 5/8-thick, all-wood, fine-surface, furniture-grade particleboard thermally-fused (thermoset) on both sides with a polyvinyl-compound called Melamine. Particleboard is a composition of wood particles bonded together under pressure with resin. It is more rigid, stable, and durable than plywood or solid wood. Melamine is exceptionally strong, and resists delamination, warping and peeling. It is a smooth, tough, sealed surface that is impervious to standing water, scratch- and chemical-resistant, and will not promote the growth of bacteria. Cabinet sides, top, and bottom are joined by glue-and-dowel construction. The back is rabbeted and glued into grooves in the sides, top, and bottom.
For a detailed view of the construction features mentioned here, please navigate to the construction area found under the Destiny, Vision and Entree product lines in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
WARRANTY UltraCraft offers a 100-Year limited warranty on all their cabinetry. For a copy of the warranty, please see your local dealer.
CABINET CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
CABINET CARE
UltraCraft cabinetry is designed to withstand the daily use associated with normal household activities and should be treated like fine furniture.
Follow these simple recommendations to care for your cabinetry: For Wood, Vision™, Acrilux™, Melamine, Aluminum, and Thermofoil Cabinetry, and cabinet interiors, clean cabinet using a soft, damp cloth (not paper towel), with a mild, non-detergent soap (we recommend 100 parts water and 1 part liquid dish soap) and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive soap pads, abrasive cleansers, steel wool, bottled spray cleaners or cleaners containing bleach. Wax or polish is not necessary and is not recommended. Excessive moisture can damage the finish. Do not spray cleaner directly on cabinet or allow moisture to seep into seams or joints. Do not leave damp cloths draped over cabinet doors or drawer fronts.
Stained or Painted Destiny™ Wood and Vision™ Eurotek™ Cabinetry
The tough, catalyzed varnish protecting your cabinetry is designed to resist foods, beverages, and household agents normally found in today’s homes.
Destiny Acrilux™ Cabinetry
The surface of Acrilux™ cabinetry is covered with a protective film from the manufacturer which should be removed after cabinet installation. Liquid detergents or cleaners containing alcohol, acetone, or acetate will damage the high gloss surface and should not be used.
Destiny Stainless Steel Cabinetry
Stainless Steel cabinet doors should be cleaned using a soft cloth and any stainless steel cleaner available at your local supermarket.
Destiny and Entrée ™ Thermofoil Cabinetry
Thermofoils, while very durable, can be damaged by excessive heat. UltraCraft provides Heat Shields which, when properly installed, protect cabinets adjacent to ovens, ranges, and dishwashers. As a precaution, you may wish to open doors and drawers away from oven during high-temperature, self-cleaning cycles. Also, pull countertop appliances, such as toasters, ovens, grilles, or coffee makers, out from under the cabinetry before use. Damage caused by excessive heat is not covered under warranty.
Repair Kit:
Small nicks and scratches that occur during daily use can be repaired using the products in the touch-up kit. Follow all instructions printed on each product. The repair kit may contain one or more of the following:
MARKER: Capillary markers are ready to use, just remove the cap. Valve Markers require shaking to mix the contents. Depress the valve to start flow of contents. Do not over flood the felt tip. FILL STICK: Fill damages with the stick and remove excess material by rubbing with a clean, dry lint-free cloth. Be careful not to remove Fill Stick material from the repaired area. CLEAR TOP COAT: Follow instructions on bottle. COLORED TOUCH-UP: Use to replace color. Shake well and apply. WAX/POLISH BUFFING COMPOUND: Use to clean and restore finish to its original luster. Shake well and apply. Keep all touch-up products out of reach of children.

Q: Who is UltraCraft®? A: UltraCraft, a division of Norcraft Companies, LLC, has been manufacturing high-quality, full-access cabinets since 1986. Our 213,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and corporate offices are located in Liberty, North Carolina where we employ over 250 skilled craftsmen, engineers, administrators, and service representatives. We produce three comprehensive lines of semi-custom cabinetry with over 75 door styles in wood, thermofoil, metal, melamine, and EurotekTM. In all we offer over 10,000 different door-style/finish combinations.
Q: What does semi-custom mean? A: Stock cabinets are mass-produced in standard sizes, warehoused, and distributed immediately when you order them. Custom cabinets are built from your exact specifications and can take months to complete. Semi-custom is the best of both worlds. UltraCraft allows you to select from thousands of standard cabinet configurations and sizes. We manufacture your cabinets to your specifications at the time of your order. Our standard sizes can even be modified for your special purposes. Standard sizes allow us to produce your order quickly and a huge selection of sizes gives you complete design flexibility.
Q: What is full-access cabinetry? A: Full-access (sometimes called European, 32mm, or frameless) cabinetry has no face frame to which the doors are hinged. Full-overlay doors on full-access cabinets hinge to the inside of the cabinet and completely cover the front of the cabinet case. Full-overlay doors conceal the hinges, and are adjustable for perfect alignment. Having no face frame, full-access cabinets have 10%-20% greater storage capacity than framed cabinets. Ends, or sides, of cabinets are flush like fine furniture and installation is simpler. There is no frame to impede access, shelves are fully adjustable and extend forward all the way to the door, and cleaning is easier.
Q: How are UltraCraft cabinets built? A: UltraCraft uses only 5/8-thick, all-wood, fine-surface, furniture-grade particleboard thermally-fused (thermoset) on both sides with a polyvinyl-compound called Melamine. Particleboard is a composition of wood particles bonded together under pressure with resin. It is more rigid, stable, and durable than plywood or solid wood. Cabinet sides, top, and bottom are joined by glue-and-dowel construction. The back is rabbeted and glued into grooves in the sides, top, and bottom.
